we got you. we're well versed in multiple styles of lettering, and have lettered on every surface you can think of. we love taking traditional calligraphy practices and making them unique and modern by using off beat surfaces and color palettes that show who you are.
Stationery
The invitation gives your guests a peek into this world they're going to get to enjoy, and we know that. That is why we make handmade totally bespoke wedding stationery. we want to tell your story, not pintrest's story, not minted's story... yours. So no matter what kind of paper you want, what printing methods you like... we can make some magic happen that's one of a kind.
Beyond
Sometimes you need a little extra. something that goes beyond the boundaries of calligraphy + Stationery... and we live for that. We've created 3D seating charts, extra large paintings, art installations and more.

Everything we do, we do to show who you are. whether we are creating your stationery, day of details, or décor, we want to make sure that we are telling your love story. we know that not everyone is pinterest perfect, because were not. so we wanted to offer couples a chance to have pieces created that mean something to them. you can choose one of the pieces we have already made if it speaks to you, or have something bespoke created just for you. want us to letter on pizza crusts because your partner always eats your crust... we got you. want to have a wedding theme based on unicorns... we got you. we have worked with sooo many different personalities.. we have created pieces for so many different kinds of weddings. boho, celestial, colorful, holographic, the list goes on. so we would love to hear all about you and what you're looking for.
Meet the artist:
Hi! I'm DarRa SargEnt, The artist behind Dear Darling and I'm so glad you're here! I have been creating art for my entire life, but professionally for over a decade. around 5 years ago, I started doing wedding calligraphy and haven't looked back since. If you check out my personal work, you will see that i am not afraid of color and that I live outside of the box.. so I wanted to create pieces for couples that don't fit inside of that cookie cutter pinterest world. Over the past five years, I have worked on almost 700 weddings, and created sooo many unique pieces of art for extraordinary couples. I am seriously in love what i do and i feel so honored that i get to wake up and do what i love every single day. I am obsessed with every aspect of a wedding and spend my free time binging wedding blogs, searching to find out what the next trends will be, and finding ways to make my work stand out from the crowd. I would love to get to know you and your partner so we can make some magic together!
