i have been a fan of noah kahan since 2019. i've made multiple pieces of fan art about his music over the years and when i saw that he was coming to dc i knew i had to make something! so i illustrated this poster and shared it on social media. noah saw it and left a comment saying "this is so stunning" after sharing it to his story! then i got a message from his team that he would like to make it the official poster for dc! i worked with his team to get the design print ready and then they were released on show day! they sold out at the venue, and online and my aps sold out one minute after they were released. 
it was truly an honor to be a part of this iconic tour for my favorite artist! 

for this piece i wanted it to feel like "the last of the bugs" - what he calls his fans - were all traveling down to nats park together on 95 from baltimore and dc. the two cities divided by 95 to illustrate "the great divide" and his lyrics "we drove aimlessly along the twin state line". there's local easter eggs for each location like the cherry blossoms, black eyed susans, baltimore checkerspot, the iconic neon sign in the baltimore skyline BUT WITH A SONG TITLE FROM THE NEW ALBUM, and the capitol building. i added fireflies to make the piece feel like summer nostalgia spent AT A CONCERT.
